General FAQ's

1.  Do you sell fishing licenses?
Yes - both Kentucky and Tennesee.

2.  Do you sell live bait and tackle?
Yes - Live bait is sold on the dock and a large assortment of tackle in our store.

3.  What forms of payment do you accept?
When making your advance deposit - check or money order.  For final payment at resort - cash, travelers checks, VISA or M/C.

4.  Where do we send our deposit?

5.  Where do we get the propane for the gas grills?
We provide the propane for you.




Houseboat FAQ's

1.  What size boats do you rent?
72, 63, 58, 55, 42 and 38 Ft. 

2.  What days do your rentals start?
3 Nights starting Thursday, Friday or Saturday
4 Nights starting Sunday, Monday or Tuesday
7 Nights starting any day except Wednesday

3.  Which boats have generators?
All boats have generators except Plan 60 (55') and Plan 10 (38')

4.  Does the rental fee include gas and oil?
No - The tank is full when you depart and you pay only for what you use.

5.  Do you provide linens?
No - Pillows and blankets are provided but you must bring your own bed linens and towels.

6.  Do you have fresh water or lake water in the holding tanks?
One holding tank uses fresh water for the kitchen sink and all vanities.  The other holding tank uses lake water for the showers.

7.  Will you show us how to operate the boat?
Yes - our instructors will go over the entire boat with you and teach you how to operate it and how to properly tie up to shore.

8.  Why do we also need to have a smaller vessel?
Due to Coast Guard regulations in case of emergency.

9.  Do you load our boat for us?
Yes - after you check in our staff will unload your vehicles and put everything on the boat for you.

10.  Do life jackets come with the houseboats?
Yes we provide life jackets for emergency use only.  You will need to bring your own for swimming.





Cottage FAQ's

1.  Do you allow pets?
Yes - in Family cottages only.  Please see Pets for more information.

2.  Do you provide linens?
No - Pillows and blankets are provided but you must bring your own bed linens and towels.

3.  Do you provide a boat slip?
Yes - a covered boat slip is provided for each cottage.  See Marina Services for more information.

4.  What should we do if we will be a late arrival.
Please call the Resort to make arrangements - 270-433-7172.

5.  Is there a minimum stay required?
Off season we will accept rentals for 1 Night or more.  In season there is a 3 Night minimum.  See Rate Info.
